Do You Keep the Ten Commandments

When Moses came down from Mount Sinai, he brought with Him the two stone tablets on which the Ten Commandments were written by the hand of G-d. Here in America, we have the Ten Commandments all over the place.  They are in courtrooms all across this country.  Many people have them hanging in their homes.  They are in churches, businesses, and even in a few colleges (yes, really).  You can pick up an artistic copy of them in most department stores.  Many Americans are highly offended when some “separation of church and state” group takes legal action to have them removed.  

I Don’t Hate You

I know a lot of Christians.  They are my family, friends, and coworkers. Since learning the truth about their religion, some might think I don’t like them anymore.  If you think like that, you are wrong.  I don’t hate you.  I hate that you are living a lie.  I hate that you won’t study the scriptures to learn the truth.  I hate that you won’t listen to someone who is only trying to help you see the truth.  I hate that you violate scripture with your worship of a man.  But, I don’t hate you.

What Good is the Law of Moses Anyway

רְאֵה נָתַתִּי לְפָנֶיךָ הַיּוֹם אֶת הַחַיִּים וְאֶת הַטּוֹב וְאֶת הַמָּוֶת וְאֶת הָרָע:

Deuteronomy 30: 15 Behold, I have set before you today life and good, and death and evil, 16 inasmuch as I command you this day to love the Lord, your God, to walk in His ways, and to observe His commandments, His statutes, and His ordinances, so that you will live and increase, and the Lord, your God, will bless you in the land to which you are coming to take possession of it.
